Remembrance Day 2014

It was 96 years ago on November 11 in 1918,
The guns stopped firing at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, ending the so-called ‘war to end wars’.

"I'd like to see 35 million poppies have been distributed, so every Canadian is wearing a poppy," president Tom Eagles

Lest we forget those who gave their all lets make the day a day of respect and quiet reflection for all Canadians. On the 11th go to your local ceremony, listen to the lament and the last post, hear the sad verses of In Flanders Fields and remember them.

The sacrifice that was made by Canadians Soldiers should always be remembered.
